Moon River label concept. This Hungarian wine came from a famous wine-growing area along the Danube and I wanted to show this heritage of the mountains and rivers.
I wanted the two to work as a set together and I used the concept of the moon and shadows to differentiate the two varieties. The full moon shines on the white wine and bathes the label colours in light whereas the crescent moon on the red wine casts less light and the colours fall into shadow.
With the full moon shining on the white wine, the colours are lighter and they are darker on the red where the moon is a crescent. The intent was to make them clearly two parts of a set, but subtly different.
