The client, a national pub chain, wanted a vector art based label with excellent shelf stand out that would appeal to a younger audience.

When I heard the name States of Mind I thought it would be interesting to have something where the mind was visible. This naturally lent itself to having the letters floating in there.

I was careful not to make the brain / cloud pink so it didn’t look gory and instead used the blue gradient to make it more abstract.
